Eye Bolt Testing

It is now a requirement for a pull test to be carried out on any eye bolt or anchor bolt that is used for the purpose of fall protection or seasonal decoration. All eye bolts must be inspected and subjected to a pull out test then certified a minimum of once a year.

We work using the guidelines provided by the CFA (Construction Fixings Association) notes which can be found at their website (the-cfa.co.uk). Here you will find all you need to know about eye bolts and eye bolt testing.   

Following any testing of eye bolts we will issue you with a full report and certificates that cover you for the next twelve months.  As standard we will send you a reminder when it is time for a re-test. 

Should any bolts fail, Positive Access will inform you of any such problems and can provide a quote for the new installation of eye bolts.
